Welcome to the newly redesigned site! For those of you new here, welcome for the first time to this humble artist's site! In terms of content, not much has changed. I've embedded my resume into the site itself, updated the gallery, and added a links page to showcase the websites of artists that inspire me.

Structurally, the site has been recoded to adhere to the XHTML 1.0 Strict doctype, tables have been removed, and all layout design has been moved into full CSS. I've also added a visual enhancement or two, namely the use of Lightbox in my gallery for a more professional display of my work. Lightbox uses JavaScript, but it is not necessary in order to view the artwork in the gallery.

This website's design uses PNGs with an alpha channel instead of GIF files to manage transparency in images. Internet Explorer 7 should display these images properly, with transparency; however, IE6 does not have the PNG transparency rules implemented properly.

To accomodate IE6 users, a small helper JavaScript is embedded into each page of this website. This script translates the PNG alpha channels for IE6, so that the browser can display transparency-enabled PNGs properly, as long as they aren't backgrounds. If you are using IE6, it is strongly suggested that you allow JavaScript to run on this site for more pleasing visuals. If you are apprehensive about enabling JS, the only scripts on this site are the above PNG script, and Lightbox.
